Where is my data stored?
Everything you enter — the side, the diary, the repertoire grid and the kit list — is saved only on your own device. There is no account and no server, so nothing can be recovered from "the cloud" if your device is lost; it also means nobody but you can ever see it.
Why does the app ask for the camera or photo library?
Only to let you set a portrait photo for a side member on the Side screen, so each dancer is easy to recognise on the set board and in the kit list. You can decline and use the app without photos.
Why does the app ask to send notifications?
Only if you turn on a roll-call reminder for a specific booking, so the app can nudge you a few days beforehand if people still haven't said yes or no. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
Can I move my book to a new phone?
Not automatically yet — the ledger lives only on the device it was entered on. If you need help with a transfer, write to us below.
I found a dance or tradition that isn't listed. Can it be added?
Yes — the repertoire grid grows with whatever dances your own side teaches, grouped by whichever village tradition you choose. Tell us what's missing and we'll take a look for a future update.
